Harness Racing New Zealand is supporting the annual Prostate Cancer Foundation fundraiser this September, and we at Ripple Creek are involved.
In a programme based on the highly popular Team Teal campaign raising awareness of ovarian cancer, Harness Racing’s Blue September campaign for prostate cancer will be a feature of September's harness racing scene. Read more about it here.
Ripple Creek’s support of Blue September will be mostly about sponsoring our stable driver Matty Williamson. To kick the campaign off, we have pledged $100 for every win Matty achieves at September race meetings.
We invite all our owners and supporters to be part of Blue September with a contribution, as much or as little as you wish, to the Ripple Creek Owners’ pledge. For a guide of how much your pledge may total, Matty averaged eight wins per month during the just finished 2020/21 season.
Ripple Creek will also contribute $100 to Blue September for every Trent Yesberg-trained winner in September. We’d be pleased to add your pledges marked for this initiative as well.
